Embedded Systems & Control System Engineer

Overview of the role
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded systems and control algorithms for offroad vehicles. This role involves the development of the drive-by-wire system and the implementation of communication protocols.
Your responsibilities will also encompass the development and tuning of open-loop and closed-loop control algorithms, such as PID controllers. If you are enthusiastic about working on the advancement of off-road vehicle technology, we invite you to join our team.
Candidate Requirements
BE/BTech or ME/MTech graduate with 0 - 3 years of work experience.
Core embedded knowledge and experience in ADC, DAC, interrupts, pointers, registers, RTOS, memory management, and low-power conditions. Worked with UART, I2C, SPI, CAN communication protocols.
Good programming skills in Embedded C, and C++. Familiarity with Linux and version control systems such as Git.
Hands-on experience with various embedded development boards such as ESP32, STM32, TI Boards (C2000 Controllers), either on development boards or custom boards.
Good fundamental knowledge of open-loop and closed-loop control algorithms. Hands-on experience with implementing PID controllers.
Ability to design and document work comprehensively.
Preferred skills:
Experience in PCB design and routing, soldering, debugging, wiring, and prototyping PCBs.
Experience in designing 3D models on CAD softwares for quick prototyping.
Experience MATLAB, and Simulink. Familiarity with System Identification, and vehicular dynamics is preferred.
Experience in working with long range digital communication links like ones offered by
Doodle Labs.Occasional travel may be required for on-site testing and collaboration with team
members.
