Embedded Systems & ROS Engineer

Overview of the role
You will be responsible for designing and developing ROS-based software solutions for an off-road vehicle and establishing communication between ROS-based nodes and embedded hardware. You will also be developing safety-critical systems for the vehicle.
Additionally, you will support the team in the development of the overall sequencing of various subsystems. If you are enthusiastic about working on advancing off-road vehicle technology, we invite you to join our team.
Candidate Requirements
BE/BTech or ME/MTech graduate with 0 - 3 years of work experience.
Required proficiency in ROS1/ROS2 with hands-on experience with various embedded development boards such as STM32, Jetson, and Coral.
Core embedded knowledge and experience in ADC, DAC, interrupts, pointers, registers, RTOS, memory management, and low-power conditions. Worked with UART, I2C, SPI, and CAN communication protocols.
Good programming skills in Embedded C, Python, and C++. Familiarity with Linux and version control systems such as Git.
Ability to design and document work comprehensively.
Preferred skills:
Fundamental knowledge of robotic concepts like mapping, localization and motion planning.
Worked with pre-processing of point clouds and developing mesh-based planners.
Worked with deep reinforcement learning-based motion controllers.
Experience in designing 3D models on CAD softwares for quick prototyping.
Experience in working with long range digital communication links like ones offered by Doodle Labs.
Occasional travel may be required for on-site testing and collaboration with team members.
